November 11, 2018 - Cadets Are Reminded to Participate to a Barrhaven/Beechwood/National Legion Remembrance Ceremony
Why is it Important?
"We must remember. If we do not, the sacrifice of those one hundred thousand Canadian lives will be meaningless. They died for us, for their homes and families and friends, for a collection of traditions they cherished and a future they believed in; they died for Canada. The meaning of their sacrifice rests with our collective national consciousness; our future is their monument"
Are you attending a parade?
75 Barrhaven Cadets are strongly encouraged to attend at least one of the ceremonies offered on November 11, 2018, especially given that it is on a Sunday this year. At 75, we are 213 Cadets strong and I think it would be great to show our support of our Barrhaven Legion and community by attending the Barrhaven Remembrance Ceremony with over 100, 75 Squadron Air Cadets in attendance. Currently we only have 52, I think we can do better!
I encourage cadets to check out the event link above to find out more about details and to signup for the parade.
